Jonny is an old work friend who has had a hard few years. For the last few months he has been going through kidney dialysis as his health was deteriorating. Depsite all of this, he carries on every day with a smile and a laugh and continues to work in a local bookmakers, although he had to reduce his hours.

Unfortunately, Jonny is now faced with the loss of one of the few close family members he had left, his wee Mum Moira. Because he only works part-time, he has now been placed under even greater financial pressure and I'd like some of the local community to help relieve this burden to let him grieve properly for his Mum.

Jonny is a very proud guy and it has took a lot for me to persuade him to let me ask for help so please help me show him that it's ok to ask for help sometimes.
