Story
The story so far…
If you're reading this, you might already know that Amanda climbed the lesser known Yorkshire 3 peaks in July, which kick started this project with the ambitious fundraising target of £1000.00. Well, we're here to raise the stakes..
Two very thoughtful friends, Angie & Fiona, had big Birthday Celebrations wanted to continue the support for this wonderful project. Angie & Fiona asked all their friends and family to donate toward the Rwanda School Build Project. Along with this birthday celebration, our regular supporters friends and family of HCC (Halifax Central Church) we are now totalling a whopping £1900. Amazing right?!
As you may have read on the initial post, the first phase of this vision to build the Rwanda School will cost £8000.00. This is what we are now hoping to achieve.
The short of why we are raising funds: the children in Rwanda do not have access to quality education like in many other countries around the globe. Unfortunately only 10% of children aged 13 will complete primary school & make it to high school. Our friends, Pacifique and Kendi, are leaders in their community currently helping with children, women and men to build better lives for themselves and their families. (You may have seen and helped out previously with buying sewing machines for the women to learn skills and earn an income from our previous fundraising page!) Myself (and most of the team) have visited Muzanse and have seen the tremendous work Pacifique and Kendi are doing to love and provide for those in their community.
The Team develops, welcome on board, Simon from the USA. Also too, Heather, Angie, Lizzie, Kanaya & Sarah from the UK.

4 years agoThe story continues…So far we have reached and amazing amount...well we didn’t want to stop there. As you may have read on the initial post. The first phase of this vision to build the Rwanda School will cost Kendi & Pacifique £8000.00. This is what we are now hoping to achieve. The Team develops..welcome on board, Andrea & Simon from the USA. Heather, Angie, Lizzie, Kanaya & Sarah from the UK. Add to that a few of Amanda’s very daring colleagues from the Digitall Comms team, Karla, Ellie, Matthew & Laura....
