I've raised £15356 to Help prevent repossession of home and relieve stress.

Stop repossession of home due to medical conditions.
Suddenly, Amanda’s career stop dead when she met a severe and enduring illness that she was told would be for life. She suffers severe bipolar disorder and chronic severe anxiety. 'When you lose the ability to financially support yourself, it becomes a horrible cycle of poverty and depression, feeling helpless to yourself. '
Amanda , for medical reasons and so due to financial hardship, no longer has funds to even pay part of any interest fees, with mortgage arrears and facing repossession. Her house is in negative equity due to drop in house prices which leaves no option but reposession. 'Life has now become full of sadness, stress and anxiety'. ‘'I wake up with anxiety the minute my eyes are open, I cannot even afford rented accommodation which has inflated so much over the years.'
Amanda is now facing repossession of her small home which is all she has to hang onto.
Amanda was a happy go lucky ambitious person, achieving a First Class Degree in Mechanical Engineering and looking forward to a great career. She went on to work as a successful Management Information Analyst in different companies across the country.
Due to illness, Amanda can no longer work to meet the basic needs of a home. ‘My home is basic but it is my home and the only place I feel safe’. ‘I often worry about my pet cats more than me as they are far away from roads and have been here 15 years with so much freedom to safely roam at the back of my house.’ ‘I worry about that a lot and ending up somewhere that doesn’t feel safe for all of us’. ‘I have got to go through so many medication changes, with physical complications along with this extra stress of not knowing where i will end up.’ 'I need to stay close to friends who can help with care and support'.
‘I think we go through life, not expecting these things to happen but no-one can predict. It is horrible to face adversity but heart-wrenching to lose your home’. ‘I can really understand how people become homeless so easily now and feel, if i can get a little bit better, doing small voluntary work to support these people – it happens so easily and then no way out’.
Amanda would appreciate any-one who can afford to donate, no matter what, to allow her to stay in her home as long as possible and be at peace from constant worry, keep her 4 cats together and to feel relief from eviction.
Please help to raise funds by sharing or caring. Thank you.
