Story

27th September this year is a special birthday for me (no, don't ask!) and I would very much like to do some thing meaningful to mark the occasion. I really hope you will all feel able to support that. Please know that every £1 raised really will count.

Moray Supports Refugees (MSR) is an organisation of volunteers and groups who want to help, and are doing what we can for those who remain in camps, wherever they may be.

Donations collected and sorted in Moray are sent to The Highlands Support Refugees, where they join donations from throughout the Highlands and then are sent on in containers for distribution in camps such as Chios camp, or the dreadfully overcrowded Moria camp on Lesvos. (Those of you who know me best will know Lesvos holds a special place in my heart!)

The people of Moray have been incredibly generous with their donations, but each time we send a van-load to Conon Bridge with our volunteer driver it costs around £30 in fuel.

I am hoping to raise enough to cover a year's worth of trips, thank you so much.

MSR is entirely run by volunteers - if you would like to get involved, there are many ways you can help. Please see the main Facebook page for more information.
