Story

When myself and Darren went to Dalyan, we noticed this really scared dog one night in the square. She was darting from one place to another with her tail tucked so far under her that it was touching her stomach. She was clearly terrified.
We were really worried about her, and when she turned up at our hotel a couple of days later we were so happy.
She let me stroke her but wouldn't let Darren or any other man anywhere near her. We could tell by her scared eyes that at some point in her life a man had hurt her terribly. We fed her and gave her treats and in a couple of days we noticed she was letting Darren stroke her and was no longer afraid. We felt this was progress. We noticed Lucy was very scared of other dogs if they became territorial and she would become extremely submissive...to the point it made you want to cry. This worries me a lot as the tourist season is coming to an end. There is a feeding programme in place but Lucy clearly isn't the kind of dog who will guard her territory or food as she is extremely shy. Add to that the fact her ear tag suggests she has been dumped by an out of town shelter has broken our hearts. We want to bring this beauty home to the UK. She touched our hearts, and made us cry, so please find it in your hearts to assist us financially in bringing her to the UK. The cost of paperwork and vaccinations is minimal at approx £150, however the whole process requires 4 months before they are allowed to leave the country and in that time she requires fostering.
The kennel costs will be approx £450 plus around £800 to transport her.
Lucy is currently in kennels in fethiye (licensed) and is settling in great. She has been microchipped, had the ear tag removed, innoculated and has had her rabies jab. In 30 days time she will have the required blood test. All being well we can transport her in January

Please help if you can

Many thanks
