I am the treasurer of Thornlie Primary Parent Council . In previous years we have raised funds by hosting bingo nights, fashion shows and Christmas fayre's. We use the funds to buy all pupils of Thornlie seasonal gifts, discos, leavers ties, gardening equipment, fun days all free of charge to the pupils. Due to the pandemic we have been unable to fundraise, however we have still been supplying seasonal treats and leavers ties. Our funds are running low and now that restrictions have lifted , we would love to give Thornlie pupils a summer fun day in June (weather permitting) we will have bouncy castles, assault courses, water fights, BBQ and anything else that involves fun. This will all be free of charge. In order to raise funds to cover the cost of this I have nominated myself to Wingwalk on a plane... Yes I am going to walk on the wings of a plane in the sky Fri 6th of May there will be video evidence . The sky really is the limit when it comes to giving Thornlie pupils a fun day to remember. So please if you can spare anything no matter if it's £1 or £100 every penny helps . Thankyou
