Amber Valley Gymnastics Club is a relatively new establishment based in Ripley,Derbyshire and is home to 581 gymnasts from pre school age, through to recreational children attending 1 hour per week right through to Regional, National Development and Elite gymnasts training for around 24 hours. Our Head Coach and original founder Jenny Swallow has recently been awarded Manager/Coach of the year at The Derbyshire Sports Awards. An honour indeed and well deserved, as her passion, drive and commitment to her gymnasts shines through in their happiness and dedication to their sport and with all of this, come impressive results and ongoing success with recent acclaim at the prestigious National finals. As with any successful gym, there are always issues with equipment-either it needs updating, or, there simply isn't enough of it!!! In order to maintain training at all levels in the gym, we are desperately in need of an additional set of asymmetric bars. Any donation would be received with joy and gratitude from our gymnasts!!!
