Story

On Saturday 12th of May, I will be doing a fire walk (yes I will still be able to work with burnt feet!!!) and I am hoping to raise some money through sponsorship for the Salaam Baalak Trust, an Indian NGO which cares for street and working children in Delhi.

When I go to India this year, I will be re-visiting the Salaam Baalak Trust and I would like to be able to fill my empty suitcases with stationary, clothes and toileteries to take out to the children.

140 children arrive at Delhi railway station every day having become seperated from their parents and relatives or having run away from home. Having seen these children first hand and the work that the Trust does, I feel this is a really worthwhile cause to support and it makes me realise just how lucky our children are! If you get a chance take a look at their website to see the great work they do- www.salaambaalaktrust.com .

If you are able to help either by sponsoring me or donating items I would be very grateful!
