In memory

Story

As most people seeing this will know on 21/03/2019 our beloved wife and mother passed away after a 10 year long battle with metastatic breast cancer.

During this ten years fight she was treated in the Kent and Canterbury Cathedral Day Unit, by absolutely incredible nurses and doctors. It is without doubt that she was given the chance to enjoy her life for as long as possible due to the support and care from all staff on the unit.

Amanda was always open about how grateful she was for her care on Cathedral Day Unit and we know she would be very happy that instead of flowers at her funeral from extended family and friends we are asking for donations In order to fund a chemotherapy nurse to complete the SACT course at university. This in turn will ensure the treatment of future cancer patients on the ward can be enhanced and ultimately the lives of others under going cancer treatments can be saved/extended.

We ask that you donate whatever you can afford as ALL money raised goes directly to the ward sisters to put toward the cost of the training.

We will close the funding page on 18/06/2019, Amandas birthday, and all money collated and given to the ward.

Many thanks and all our love

Dave, Ellie and Charlie
