Ali has been suffering from a condition known as Paranoid Schizophrenia since 2014 which is considered to be the most common subtype of this chronic disorder. Ali’s Mental Health condition has gone worse throughout the years due to lack of resources by the NHS to find him a bed where he could be hospitalised to receive the right treatment, instead police gets called on him due to his behaviour which every doctor failed to address as to the reasons to why Ali behaves the way he does.

Ali was young man who worked really hard throughout his life to support his family financially, since his condition took place that’s when Ali changed completely and sadly he wasn’t given a chance at life nor he was given the right support for treatment. We as his family member have suffered from a lot of abuse and insults from Ali due to his Mental Health condition; however, we haven’t given up on him as we are certain that if Ali had received the care needed ,he wouldn’t have got to a stage where our lives ended up being at risk.

I am Ali’s sister; my name is Amani whom Ali abused physically and emotionally due to his severs condition. The reason why I am saying that is to show that those with Mental Health issues can affect people around them so severely to a point where I started suffering from depression, panic attack and anxiety. I do not want to accept that this is the end of the road for a Ali, I do not want to give up on hope and I urge each and every person to take Ali’s case into account and I also want to remind people that there is a lot cases similar to Ali’s case where people are actually dying in silence.

As I am writing Ali’s story, I would like to inform you that Ali is in prison since last week as they believe that prison is the right place for someone who suffers from a mental disorder. Please help me send Ali away to get him treated…..

The main goal of raising money is for Ali to be sent abroad where he could be hospitalised to receive the right treatment needed. Losing a family member is the hardest thing anyone could go through, I have read about a lot of cases where people have died from this condition as they get to a stage where they either suffer from a cardiac arrest or lose their mind completely due to NHS not being able to provide treatments due to short of resources.

I am losing my brother as each day passes by, it’s really painful to see someone you love suffering yet standing still struggling to find a way, this is how I feel as I am unable to do anything for him. Mental Health disorder should be taken seriously as it could cost someone their lives or people around them.
