What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

Story
We are gathering support to fund our local boat building program Am Bàta. We hope to secure the future of traditional boat building for the youth of today in the highlands of Scotland. The program will be shutting it's doors in the year 2019 due to lack of funding and will consequently leave the young and ambitious without this amazing opportunity to bring life to wood and excitement and passion into their own.

As a former student of Am Bàta, I am determined to keep traditional boat building in the curriculum of Plockton High School and provide the same opportunity to start something unique and creative as it has helped me incredibly to be where I am now.
