I've raised £500 to MKNNU. This unit cares for premature and very sick babies.

Saturday 17th November is World prematurity day.
This event was created in 2008 and is celebrated each year to raise awareness of preterm birth and the concerns of preterm babies and their families worldwide.
Our son Oakley was born 10 weeks premature and is currently in the Neonatal unit. He is receiving fantastic care and we are so lucky to have the unit available to us.
The consultants and Nurses are getting us through this traumatic time. Oakley has had numerous health concerns, tests, scans and monitoring since birth. Its down to the consultants and nurses that he is still here today. These people work long shifts and give their everything to support parents and care for each and every preterm and very sick baby in their unit.
It has been a rollercoaster with Oakley and nothing could have prepared us for it but The Neonatal unit/ team have been amazing. Providing second to none care for the tiniest of patients and offering support to thier familiesfamopatients but offers support to parents and families during thier stay.
