What is crowdfunding?

Story
I've always wanted to go traveling, and now I'm a student I can achieve that!! However, I'm not as rich as my classmates lol, coming from a family who relies on benefits I don't have opportunities like this often. So, I thought I'd give this a go!! I'd really appreciate any donation, thank you <3
