A group of us from Wellingborough Amateur Boxing Club have set up this fundraising page for our amazing coach Ray Revell. He has been coaching now for over 40 years and at the beginning of his journey he used to run a club called Wellingborough ABC in his front room. As it grew they moved into the Portacabin on the Hemmingwell estate. From there the club moved to Kingsway boys club and they stayed there for 15 years. It is now based at Weavers sports center where he hires out one of the sports halls. Ray has been striving for over 44 years now to have a National Champion. He has had many midland finalists at schoolboy, junior and senior level and bronze medalists. He is currently training a female team GB member and his first national champion who is working her way through the team GB talent levels.

Ray is now 70 and still coaching. His dream is to own his own boxing club where training times and days are not restricted instead of hiring out a sports hall.

He has help so many people and he doesn't get enough credit, so this would be amazing for Ray.
