Alzheimer’s Research does amazing work and is the leading dementia charity in the UK with the aim to beat dementia.

Did you know over 38% of people in the uk are effected by dementia? 38%?! That’s shocking. And what’s worse is that there is no cure for dementia, only treatments that can help slow it’s symptoms down.

1 in 4 hospital beds are occupied by a dementia patient over 65 who cannot live at home.

So this year for my birthday I’ve decided I’ve decided to do a Skydive whilst also raising money for this awesome charity, who’s vision is a world where people are free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.
