Story

I am going to Malawi in Africa after my GCSE's in July 2019 to work on a 3 week expedition project. I am really excited to pack a rucksack and go on an incredible, inspiring and transforming journey with my school friends. We will make a real difference by helping out a community and learn all about the Malawian way of life first-hand. 90% of our expeditions includes project work, helping to build and improve buildings and work with assisting children at a local school and running lessons and sports.

For the remaining 10% of the project we will head out on safari to spot Africa’s famous wildlife including elephants and crocodiles before reaching the glistening shores of Lake Malawi where we will pick up our kayak's for a paddle to Domwe Island on beautiful clear waters. We will also conquer Mount Mulanje. For the full 3 weeks we will be camping in a tent, there are no luxuries of hotels, hostels or restaurants, it's real back to basics!
