Story

On March 15th 2018 I suffered from a brain haemorrhage followed by a stroke. Being only 23 I never imagined I would have to go through such a great ordeal at such a young age. I suffered beyond imagination. The pain and agony was unbearable. The pressure on my brain had effected my right eye, which i lost my eyesight and had no movement in it. I was also unable to move my neck due the pressure on my brain.

The doctors notified my family that there is a chance of a second haemorrhage and stroke due to clots in the brain. But, thankfully my treatment began straight away..

The Neurology team at the Royal Preston Hospital were absolutely amazing! If it wasn’t for their constant care and medical attention I would not have recovered the way I did.

We all know someone who has suffered or even lost their life due to such tragedy. So let’s together raise money so the doctors of Neurology can help save more lives.
