I've raised £1000 to Raise money and awareness for Andy's Man Club (AMC) - The mental health support and suicide prevention project

In the UK, suicide is the number one killer of men under the age of 45, with 12 men taking their lives every day.
1 in 15 people had made a suicide attempt at some point in their life.
Not only suicide, 1 in 4 Brits will experience ill mental health in a given year and only 1 in 4 of those people will get the support they need.
Andy's Man Club is a project aimed to halve the number of suicides in men under the 45. It was set up in memory of Andrew Roberts who sadly took his life in 2016. AMC started as a support group in Halifax, for men to talk about their problems without judgement or feeling like a burden. Andy's Man Club created the campaign #itsokaytotalk to get people talking about mental health and to each other.
Please join me in raising awareness and supporting Andy's Man Club to help those around us who struggle with mental health. "From the outside looking in, it's hard to understand. From the inside looking out, it's hard to explain."
This September I will be climbing Mera Peak in Nepal. 6,476m above sea level; the same height as Everest Camp 2 and 48% of oxygen available to that at sea level. A 15 day climb will see me standing higher than Kilimanjaro and Mt McKinley, and also very out of breath. A physical and mentally tough challenge to raise awareness and support to anyone fighting their own personal battle.
You can make a massive difference, whether it be a donation or just talking and opening up to someone. Thank you so much.
