On the 11th September I will be running a marathon to raise money for 4 amazing charities close to my heart

PIAM BROWN WARD-Southampton children's cancer ward: My cousin was diagnosed with a brain tumour when he was 2 years old, in 2002 after initial surgery he received Chemotherapy and was cared for by the Nursing and Medical staff on Piam Brown. He spent over a year having treatment and spent many hours/days on the ward in Southampton. Our whole family were very appreciative of the support and care he received and with all the surgery and treatment he received my cousin is now 21 and doing well.

Steve's Team: In July 2018 Steve sadly passed away and to honour his memory and remember him in positive ways ,Steve's family created Steve's Team to help carry on Steve's legacy of loving sport, to encourage everyone to participate and to provide opportunities for people who can't take part otherwise. Steve loved all sport, from tennis to surfing. As a family we hope to remember Steve through helping others be involved in sport.

Mountbatten Hospice Southampton: My grandad was first diagnosed with stomach cancer in October 1983. He was admitted to Southampton general hospital were he was monitored prior to being admitted into Mountbatten Hospice where he was looked after extremely well. He unfortunately lost his battle with cancer in February 1984. Mountbatten Hospice are a charity which provides free care and support to people with any life-limiting illness, including respiratory disease, Motor Neurone Disease, heart disease, advanced dementia, respiratory disease and cancer. They provide free bereavement and psychological support to patients and their families.

Prostate Cancer: My grandad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2017. He started radio therapy in September 2017 with 21 treatments overall. Thankfully my grandad has been free of cancer ever since after successful therapy.
