Story

A lot of people know that on the 1st December 2015 our world changed our beautiful baby girl entered the world touching all our hearts.... On the 30th December 2015 our world came crashing down as our beautiful baby girl passed away breaking all our hearts.... since then we have been doing a lot of fundraising for the Alder Centre/ bereavement suite via our just giving pages.

As Amelia’s Mum I wanted to donate something in her memory that would help other parents who experience what we experienced. That’s when I found the CuddleCot. With the CuddleCot families get to spend time with their babies at home. Allowing them those extra few days with their babies.

We will be doing fundraising events all through 2018 to help raise the funds needed to purchase a Cuddle Cot. We have set a target of £5000 as we feel we may be able to buy more than one cuddle cot and initial quotes to buy the full system is coming in around this. If we manage to raise more than our target we will discuss the options with the Honeysuckle team and if its possible we will purchase more than one. If not we may be able to split the money that is left between the Honeysuckle team and also The Alder Centre via our other fundraising pages.
