I have been given the most amazing opportunity to join Team Impact and other pupils and teachers from my school, on an expedition to Nepal to volunteer to work with pupils at Shubhakamana Academy (pupils ages 4-7 years old) where we will help teach them conversational English along with other subjects. We will also have the chance to visit some of Nepal's amazing religious sites and temples and other cultural areas of interest. As well as the main group fundraising activities, I also have to individually raise £1500 for my part of the trip. To do this I have decided to train for and run a sponsored 10k all while studying for my GCSE's in May.
