I've raised £10000 to fund Amelia's Diamond

Belinda: She is many things to many people. She has a big loving heart and soul.
She is Mum to Matilda and wife to Shane. They are the Diamonds and they were supposed to be joined very soon by Amelia.
At 37 weeks into her difficult pregnancy Belinda’s newly diagnosed Aortic Aneurysm ruptured.
Baby Amelia did not survive this catastrophic event for long. Her family got to be with her for a short time.
Belinda also very nearly did not survive. For over 2 weeks, she underwent a multitude of critical cardiac surgeries and many other surgeries.
Her heart did not want to start beating again. So, she remained on a bypass machine which caused some other problems.
Her family and friends watched with a roller-coaster of emotions as she improved, deteriorated and improved. She was transferred from Leeds General Infirmary to Papworth hospital in Cambridge for more specialised care.
Through all this time, Belinda hung in and fought back and gradually improved.
Presently, she is back at Leeds General Infirmary on the Coronary Care Unit. She is awake and alert. She still requires ventilation and Kidney dialysis.
Belinda has ahead of her a long and difficult road. She has not only to understand what has happened to her, but what has happened to her baby.
Belinda never got to meet Amelia, to hold and cuddle her or to finally say goodbye.
When Amelia is laid to rest the family would like to turn her ashes into a diamond, so she can remain a part of them for all of time.
We have set up this Just Giving Site to help raise money for Amelia’s Diamond, and to help the family in any other ways they may need.
Please help us to help them.
Thank you
