Story

Thank you firstly for taking the time to read this.

Amelia is a very special little girl from Hamilton who sadly in Novmeber had her and her families world turned upside down, with the devastating news that she has Leukemia.

Since the heartbreaking diagnosis, Amelia has stayed strong and positive throughout and is undergoing intensive chemotherapy. This has caused her to lose her hair and gain weight due steroids etc.

Amelia is regularly allowed home for several nights at a time when not undergoing chemotherapy. Due to her immune system being down, she is however basically a prisoner in her home due to the high risk of infection.

Myself and a group of other tradesman are going to compeltely transform her parents double garage into a playroom fit for a princess! All labour costs are completely free with a group of various tradesmen donating their time compeltely free of charge on the weekend from 5th-7th April.

Although we are all working for free, materials are not free, and although we hope to receive a substantial discount from local suppliers, its inevitble there will still be large costs involved.

Any help you are able to give would be GREATLY appreciated, lets give Amelia the playroom she deserves!

P.s- Amelia’s mum Karla has offered to support the project financially, however she is self employed and a mother of 5, and we dont want to take any savings she may have off her. It is inevitble that in the coming weeks/months/years whilst Amelia fights this battle that she will need to take long spells off work etc.

This is a link to a similar project myself and the other tradesmen carried out last year so you know this is genuine- https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/big-hearted-builders-save-wishaw-12576163.amp
