Weʼve raised £211 to Volunteer with Camps International in Tanzania, Africa
- Exeter, UK
- Funded on Saturday, 20th July 2019
Don't have time to donate right now?
From a young age my dream has been to work with animals, but due to a surprising obsession with Gerald Durrell and his passion towards animal conservation my wildest dreams grew even more on the wildside. This life changing opportunity means that my current dream of becoming a conservationist will be expanded in the future, as this once in a life time expedition will prove that i can cope with the unexpected and can work as a teammember to improve the lives of those unfortunate families. It will also help grow my knowledge of the African culture and species found in the plains of Africa allowing me to experience life in a completely different environment. To allow me to take part in this expedition i will need to raise a total of £4000 in order to do this i will need the help of family and friends and i would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the generosity.

Over the months Amelia has been busy raising money to fund her trip. She has been evolved in house cleaning, table top sales, 20 mile sponsored walk amongst other things and has raised a total of £1600 so we are definitely getting there but would really appreciate every penny that will get us closer to her goal. A huge thank you to everyone who has given so generously so far 😊👍

About the fundraiser
As a student of Dawlish college I have been given the opportunity to take part in an expedition to Tanzania with Camps International. I will be helping by conserving species animals and plants as well as rural communities. With the cost of £4000 i will raise as much as possible.
