Story

Good evening everyone. Me and my family would like to thank everyone who stopped and helped my grandmother this afternoon around 2.30/3 who lost her balance and fell on the pavement. She is currently in hospital being treated for her injuries, at the moment I only know that she has fractured her wrist, they are still assessing her other injuries. However, one gentleman who saw my gran fall, pulled over to help her and had his van stolen in the process. This has been reported to the police who are looking into this theft. Not only have they taken his van which was full of tools, it also had his keys, wallet and phone in the van. The gentleman doesn't even live around the area, he is from south end on sea but was up here on business. He then had to get a train home from the police station. Unfortunately I wasn't there at the time of the incident so don't have much of a description of the van - all i know is it was a white van with writing down the side which sped off toward sainsburys and did a left at the roundabout toward farleigh. I don't have a description of the nasty human being who stole the van. We want to thank this gentleman especially as he only stopped to help and ended up having his van stolen just for being a kind citizen. His tools are also not insured. We also want to thank the school boy and another gentleman who ran to my house to get my mother and who stayed with her until the first responder arrived. If you are that school boy, you were incredibly brave and we are forever grateful. Thank you to everyone else who stopped or offered assistance to us - it meant a hell of a lot in this stressful time.

If anyone was around crowborough drive/sainsburys warlingham around 2.30/3 and saw whoever it was who stole the van, or if you can offer any sort of description of the van or the man who stole the van then PLEASE inbox me, no matter how small the detail. Because every detail is significant.
