I've raised £5000 to Get Amie a wheelchair

Amie is 27 and suffers from two dabilitating illnesses. The first being Behcet's Disease - Behçet's disease, or Behçet's syndrome, is a rare and poorly understood condition that results in inflammation of the blood vessels and tissues. The second is Leukemia.
Amie has spent all of her adult life very poorly with these illnesses, but she never complains or moans she simply gets on with her very restricted life and smiles as much as she can.
For the past few years Amie has been pretty much bed bound and unable to walk without someone being there to help and support her.
Three weeks ago the doctors told Amie that she should no longer weight bare on any of her legs. This now meant that she had to be carried to her small wheelchair, carried to the car to go to the hospital etc.
Only yesterday Amie was told that she is likely to never walk again, as her hips have now shattered. This is devestating news for anyone to hear never mind someone in their 20's!
Amie is so determined and has already found an amazing wheelchair that could see her at least getting some life back by letting her move around without relying on everyone for support. However it is very expensive - hence why we are asking for your help.
Thank you for reading.
