Story
On the 23rd February 2019, I will be partaking in a 'Mystery Challenge' organised by iHelp in the hope of raising funds to aid 2 key charities; iHelp and SIFA Fireside.
As winter arrives in many countries, hundreds of thousands of people both here in the UK and globally will be battling against freezing temperatures. For those who are displaced and homeless, there is often little to no protection against the freezing temperatures and snow.
With the money raised, I hope to make a donation to a UK based charity, SIFA Fireside, who work to "enable homeless and vulnerable people to take control, paving the way for healthier, fulfilling lives". Having previously worked with SIFA myself, I have had the fortune of seeing the positive impact this leading charity has on the lives of people struggling to get by.
In addition to this, I hope to make a donation to iHelp to support their Emergency Winter Appeal, aimed at helping refugees in need of shelter and warmth. With teams on the ground, iHelp aim to provide winter clothing, warm blankets, bedding, food, firewood and fuel to those in need, in the hope of preventing fatalities and reducing the risk of serious illness amongst the most vulnerable.
Any donation, big or small is massively appreciated! :)
