Weʼre raising £2,000 to help under privileged families in Kenya have homes, schools, clean water and medical supplies
- O2, London, Essex
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Our team, Kenya, will be rising to new heights to collect charity for the under privileged families in Kenya. These families are forced to face their fears every day...no clean water, no housing, no food. Our team (most of whom are scared of heights), are facing their fears by climbing over the O2 on the 6th April 2019 to raise money to help these people wake up to clean water, sustainable homes, accessible medical treatments and much more.
Our team, Aminah, Rozina, Shehreen, Rizwana and even our kids Hiba, Aleena, Esah, Maryam, and Ibad will all be taking on this challenge to raise money and awareness for the residents in Kenya. Understanding that over 20 million people of Kenya, including children, live below the poverty line. Access to basic quality services such as heath care, education, clean water and sanitation is a luxury for these people!
The money we raise will go towards helping generations of children have an education by building schools, constructing vitally and urgently needed community housing, improving and installing local amenities including medical needs, installing new water facilities to provide fresh drinking water, helping with environmental protection and making sustainable livelihoods.
