My family never imagined we would spend years living in fear, documenting harassment, attending court hearings, and trying to navigate the legal system on our own.

My family is seeking support to help cover legal costs associated with ongoing civil proceedings.

Over the past several years, our family has experienced a series of incidents that caused significant distress and led us to make numerous reports to the relevant authorities. Throughout this period, we kept records and gathered evidence because we felt it was important to document our experiences.

The situation ultimately resulted in a criminal prosecution in which the defendant was convicted of ABH following an assault on my father. The court imposed a 12-month prison sentence suspended for 2 years, together with rehabilitation requirements, financial penalties, and a restraining order.

While the criminal proceedings have concluded, related civil proceedings remain ongoing. Because these matters are still before the court, we are limited in what we can say publicly.

Our family is now facing the challenge of continuing these proceedings without professional legal representation. To date, much of the legal work has been undertaken without specialist assistance. As people with no formal legal training, navigating court procedures has been extremely difficult and has resulted in additional costs that have placed considerable strain on our family.

We are hoping to raise £5000 to help cover:

• Solicitor fees

• Barrister representation

• Court and hearing costs

• Legal advice and case preparation

• Ongoing civil litigation expenses

Our family’s financial situation makes these costs particularly difficult to manage. My father is the sole earner in our household. My mother is a full-time homemaker, my sister is currently attending university, and I am unable to work due to health-related limitations.

We are simply asking for the opportunity to obtain professional legal representation and present our case properly before the court.
