My earliest and fondest childhood memories all include my grandma. Whether it was her amazing cooking, or the way she used to spoil us rotten on the weekend, or the fact that she was just always there, sitting quietly and observing. It's still hard to accept that she's no longer with us.

Although the illness started to become more prevalent in her day to day activities, she made sure to remain the independent woman she always was until she passed.

That's why, on the 25th May, I will be doing a skydive in memory and celebration of my grandma, and to raise money to find the cure and help those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Heights have always terrified me, but there would be no better motivator than seeing donations pouring in for this amazing cause.

All proceedings will be going straight to the Alzheimer's Society. Please donate as every little helps!
