Story

Hi , Thank you for taking the time to view this page.

As some of you may already know, I will be taking part in the Hackney half marathon on Sunday the 20th of May. This will be my first official half marathon and I’m sure, one of the toughest physical challenges I would have faced to date. My goal is to complete this half marathon in less than 2 hours (wish me luck).

I have chosen to use this half marathon as an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for the Amma Rose Trust (ART) as it is a charity close to my heart. Amma Rose sadly passed away in June 2015 aged 35 from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

Amma Rose Trust (ART) aims to provide greater knowledge and understanding of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and to promote good health for the public benefit.

It was Amma’s wish for the charity to expand and eventually provide crucial dialysis equipment and supplies to poorer third world countries. I am pleased to be supporting such a positive organisation.

Thanks.

Aaron
