Story

The Rainforest Ward at the Lincoln County Hospital is a busy children’s ward where extremely dedicated and skilled teams of doctors and nurses work hard to look after unwell children.

Some of these unwell children need to undergo blood tests as a part of their treatment process. The staff on the children’s ward strive hard to keep children as comfortable and as pain free as possible during this stressful time of undergoing blood test.

Through our small fundraising effort, the Gully Cricketers would like to help the ward purchase necessary equipment to assist the Rainforest ward staff in keeping children optimally comfortable, distracted and pain free during the blood test. These include audio-visual distraction aids, infrared vein viewer detector lights and other such equipment.

Your contributions in this very noble cause will be extremely valuable.
