Weʼre raising £400 to help the Rainforest Ward at Lincoln County Hospital

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

The Rainforest Ward at the Lincoln County Hospital is a busy children’s ward where extremely dedicated and skilled teams of doctors and nurses work hard to look after unwell children.

Some of these unwell children need to undergo blood tests as a part of their treatment process. The staff on the children’s ward strive hard to keep children as comfortable and as pain free as possible during this stressful time of undergoing blood test.

Through our small fundraising effort, the Gully Cricketers would like to help the ward purchase necessary equipment to assist the Rainforest ward staff in keeping children optimally comfortable, distracted and pain free during the blood test. These include audio-visual distraction aids, infrared vein viewer detector lights and other such equipment.

Your contributions in this very noble cause will be extremely valuable.

It has been a wonderful experience running the Lincoln 10K yesterday. Great atmosphere and all our runners finished the race in style, led ably by our leading trio Dilip, Amol and Amit. Thank you all for cheering us over the finish line, and for your generous contributions for this great cause. Photos to follow
