Story

Steven always enjoys being active, regularly calling in at the gym his home away from home. Steven has always had a positive look on life and was nicknamed ‘The big friendly giant’.

On 14th May 2016, Steven found himself on life support after surviving a fall from a three story balcony. As a result, Steven encountered multiple life threatening injuries, including severing his spinal cord in three places, leaving him paralysed from the mid-chest down. After remaining in a critical position in intensive care for a long time, Steven has gone from strength to strength. Having spent the last nine months in a hospital bed missing his thirteen year old daughter and long lasting girlfriend, Steven has somehow managed to remain extremely positive and believes that one day he will walk again; he has even transformed his hospital room into a mini gym hosting a number of heavy dumbbells and exercise bands to keep him active and fit.

But Steven needs your help!

Doctors have investigated Steven’s injuries and believe that he could potentially walk again if he receives Stem Cell therapy from the Stem Cell institute in Panama, South America. The procedure involves taking stems cells from a frozen umbilical chord and a sample of Stevens bone marrow. The stem cells are then injected into Steven's lower spine. There is obviously a huge cost associated with this treatment and it can’t be made possible without the generous support from friends, family and loved ones.

You can help make a massive difference to Steven's life after injury by donating and making the stem cell treatment a possibility; all donations small and large are greatly appreciated.

Thanks you so much in advance.

May good karma come knocking.
