The Atlantic Mavericks Velodyssee 2026 is a team of 3 Military veterans, Garry Mitchell, Roy Dixon and Ian Davies; with an average age of 65, who are taking on a self supported 1000 mile cycle challenge following the Velodyssee route along the Atlantic coast of France from Roscoff to Bilbao in Spain.

We are raising money for two charities: Myeloma UK, because one of the team, Ian Davies, is suffering with Multiple Myeloma and the Fisher House Foundation which provides accommodation for the families of Military Veterans who are in Hospital. Ian’s family has made use of one the Fisher Foundation homes on the two occasions (of 14 days each) that Ian has been hospitalised for transplants, which help to control his Myeloma.
