Story

Gleb is a lovely but very pale 11 year old boy, who through no fault of his own, lives in a village which is highly contaminated by the Chernobyl disaster, putting him at significant risk of cancer and leukaemia. A month in England helps to restore his immune system, makes him strong and puts some roses in his cheeks. After school he helps look after his younger brothers and sisters, helps his mum to grow vegetables and to look after the pig, without which they would not have enough to eat. There is very little time for Gleb to just be a child, to run around and play. With your help we can make that possible and give him the opportunity to improve his health. He is very excited about his visit to England and can't wait to make pizza at AMVC! Thank you so much for your wonderful support.
