I've raised £1500 to help educate children in Uganda and give them essential supplies

I am part of a charity called Teams4u, which is going to Uganda to help to educate young boys and girls on both their personal hygiene and the importance of education.
Currently, young girls are missing a week of school every month due to their periods, that's 3 months a year of education they are missing out on. Our aim is to give them the opportunity to stay in school and not be affected by periods, therefore we would be supplying the young girls with reusable pads so they are able to continue their education, giving them the best chance of a career when they are older, and try and reduce the number of young children being forced to work.
We would also be helping to educate young boys, making them aware of contraception and helping them to understand the spreading of disease. Due to the high rate of conception, it means that there is an increased rate of the spread of disease,. We want to to educate boys on why using condoms can reduce the outbreak of disease, which will help to prevent deaths. Also, we would help them to understand why staying in education is important, explaining how it will give them the opportunity to have work in the future, allowing them to have a better life.
Your help and donations will enable me to go to Uganda and give opportunities to children that they have never had the chance to experience before, making such a difference to their lives.
