Help Me Return to the UK to Study, Play Rugby, and Build a Better Future

In September 2025, I travelled from Nigeria to the United Kingdom to train and play rugby. I arrived with very little except determination, hope, and a dream of building a better future for myself and my family.

What I did not expect was the kindness I would receive.

During my time in the UK, an incredible English family welcomed me into their home and treated me like one of their own. My teammates, coaches, and friends supported me in ways I will never forget. For the first time in a long time, I truly felt valued, encouraged, and accepted — not just as a rugby player, but as a person.

When I returned to Nigeria, reality hit hard again.

I came back to financial struggle, but I also came back with a new goal: to return to the UK legally, continue my education, and create a future filled with opportunity.

I have now been offered admission to Leeds Beckett University, where I hope to study while continuing my rugby journey with Sheffield Eagles.

This opportunity could completely change my life.

I come from a humble background in Nigeria. My father is a retired police officer, and my mother works as a clerical officer in the judiciary, earning less than £50 a month. Despite everything, my parents have always sacrificed everything they could to support me.

I also help care for my younger sister, who lives with Sickle Cell Disease, while working as a fitness trainer to help support my family financially.

No matter how hard I work, I cannot raise the tuition and relocation costs alone.

I am asking for help to give me a chance:
