What is crowdfunding?

Story
This is to help us raise money for our wedding. We're currently saving for a mortgage and a wedding so as you can imagine it's very hard!
We both put in a lot of hours at work so hardly see each other, I would just love to work normal hours and be married to my bestfriend.
