Story

Did you know that Swaziland has the highest HIV/Aids population in the world?

Out of the 1.4 million people in Swaziland there are approximately 200,000 orphaned children and it is also one of the poorest countries globally. Thousands of Swazi children suffer from HIV/AIDS and treatment is simply unaffordable.

In todays society it is so rare for people to at least acknowledge the endless suffering caused by poverty all around the world, so please help me to help those less fortunate than us.

This summer I want to help by spending 7 weeks volunteering in poor rural communities working with one of Swaziland's founding non-profit organisations who help to make a huge difference to orphaned children's lives by building safe care centres and educational facilities.

As part of my fundraising plans on the 28th May I will conquer my biggest fear by doing a sponsored skydive from 13,500ft and would be very grateful if you could spare a few pounds to help me raise the funds I need to volunteer in Swaziland.

Thank you :)
