Story

Wes passed away after a courageous battle with cancer; he faced every challenge with strength and bravery, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Wes was a remarkable dad to Oliver, Delilah, and Penelope, loving them fiercely every single day. He was the best husband, a devoted partner in every sense. He was everything: the greatest brother, son, uncle, friend, and coach.

For those wishing to make a donation in memory of Wes, we invite contributions to Rainford Ladies Athletic, the club that held a special place in his heart.

Wes dedicated so much of his time, energy, and love to Rainford Ladies Athletic, coaching the Under-9s team where his daughter Delilah proudly played. Being on the pitch with her and the team brought him immense joy, and he believed deeply in the power of girls’ grassroots football to build confidence, friendship, and lasting memories.

Wes was more than just a coach, he was a mentor, a friend, a true source of support and inspiration. He gave everything to the game and to the young players he supported, always showing up with encouragement, belief, and love.

All money raised through this page will go directly to Rainford Ladies Athletic, helping to continue the work Wes was so passionate about. Supporting young girls in grassroot football and providing opportunities for them to thrive.

Thank you for helping us honour Wes in a way that truly reflects the legacy he leaves behind. 🩷🖤
