Thomas is raising funds for his swimming club-Burton Amateur Swimming Club-to give something back to them to show his appreciation for all the support and encouragement they have given him during his time there. In the past 6 years, he has had many successes, including qualifying for County Championships and Regional Championships.

Thomas is taking part in his first Regional Open Water Championship event on Sunday 22nd June 2025 at Cirencester. Open water swimming is a new challenge for Thomas and he is taking on the 3km swim.
