Story
Obwaagazi is based in Jinja, Uganda and provides special education, therapies, medical assistance, parent education, food assistance and community outreach for children with disabilities in Uganda. Children with disabilities in Uganda are often seen as a curse to the family and communities and are often outcasts.
Our amazing friends Kristina and Moses the founders of Obwaagazi ensure that these children get the education and care that they deserve. Thanks to sponsors and donations all the children have been provided with food and presents for Christmas. Our family would like to raise as much money as we can over the Christmas period to ensure Obwaagazi can continue to support these children in to the new year. Me and Jack will be wearing this two person jumper all day Christmas eve (Leigh family Christmas day), meaning we'll have to eat with one hand each and carry out all tasks together. Uncle Dickie says if we can keep it on all day he'll get in the river and drink a glass of wine! Please donate what you can. Merry Christmas!
