£430raised of £700 target by 12 supporters

Weʼve raised £430 to travel to Ghana with the charity, African Adventures Foundation in June 2017.

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

I have been selected by my school to participate in the 2017 African Adventures Foundation trip to Ghana to help in their long term goal of combating poverty in Africa.
The Foundation is a registered charity which exists to provide regular and long term support to their partner projects in Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar. These projects provide opportunity to deprived communities and under-funded schools in clear need of support. Funds donated through the foundation allow projects to access vital tools and resources which otherwise would be unavailable.

While in Ghana I will work with school age children assisting in teaching and coaching sports. I also hope to help in a building project for the new village school.

I am really pleased to be involved in this trip as it will give me the opportunity to share some of my gymnastics knowledge and help children learn some new and fun skills. If I can raise enough funds, I will also be able to take some much needed supplies such as toiletries, which are often not available or prohibitively expensive locally.

Thank you for your interest. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference!
