Hello my name is Amy-louise Jackson, and I'm 18 years old.

So I heard about these charities from a close family friend and its been something I have always wanted to do, yet the timing never seemed to be ideal with college and work. Yet this year I said to myself I will do it, and before I knew it my flights were booked and I was making arrangements and trying to find as much information as I could gather.

So as of 1st of January 2018, I will be flying to Goa in North India to take place in volunteering work.Part of my volunteering work will include volunteering for the 'Primate Trust' charity which is a charity for abandoned monkey's. This charity is designed to help monkeys which have been abandoned,injured and even abused.

I will also be volunteering for the 'Starting point charity' which is a charity designed to help young children receive an education and give them a brighter future. By going to this school they will receive the basic knowledge that every child takes for granted, without the basic education that is required, they will not be able to continue their education by going to a higher school. Making living India very difficult without any income to support their families.
