We bought our lovely house last year in August and we love it.

The thing is, we hadn’t realised it doesn’t have cavity walls, therefore last winter was SOOO cold. In fact you could see mine, my husbands and our 2 kids breath on freezing days.

British Gas only offer help for cavity walled houses and after making some enquiries, I found out you can have the walls insulated from the outside. Our house is detached so this will be very expensive. Companies quoting between 18k to 20k.

We simply can’t afford this, therefore I wondered if anyone would find it in their hearts to help us so we can get it sorted before this winter hits us bad.
