Story
I am raising funds for Chiltern Wood Special Needs School in High Wycombe. Chiltern Wood caters for 207 children and young people with a range of learning difficulties, including my son Corey-Jack.
Corey has only been at Chiltern Wood since September 2017, but in this time has come along in leaps and bounds both educationally and emotionally, his confidence having been given real boost. The staff put their heart and sole into making the children's experience enjoyable and preparing them for their lives ahead.
The school is always in need of additional funds to provide the very best for their deserving youngsters. Their grounds need a lot of work that are beyond what their budget can stretch to, and they are pushing to redevelop large areas of their land so that some of their most complex youngsters have an improved play space.
On August 12th Corey (his nurse gave the ok) his big sister Lacie and myself will be participating in the 5k Fun colour run in Reading.
At Fun Colour Rush we all enter a world of bold colours and laughter.
The best part about Fun Colour Rush is you don't have to even run. It's is a day to express yourself, so you can choose to walk, skip, dance 5K togehter.
