Story

There are an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK in 2015, rising to 4 million by 2030

Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year

Everyone has been either directly or indirectly affected by either Mental Health problems or cancer, and unfortunately, both are on the rise. This is why SCI-MX Nutrition have decided to enter two teams into the Samworth Challenge 2019, in order to raise money for both 'Mind' and 'Macmillan Cancer Support'.

Both charities are without doubt provide life-changing support for those affected. Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Macmillan Cancer support provide physical, emotional and financial support to help individuals have been diagnosed with cancer and their families live life as fully as they can.

On the 1st June, both teams will be competing in a gruelling 9 hour triathlon style event in Porlock, Somerset, along the 'Super-Tough' route. Each challenge team has to complete a tough mountain walk, a long mountain bike ride and a canoe race.

It would be great if you could help us to meet our target of £4,000 - £2,000 per charity. Any donations will be hugely appreciated.

Thank you.
