I've raised £2000 to Volunteer in Ghana's Hospitals

In March us two paeds nursing side kicks, Amy and Ali, embark on a new adventure to Africa. As most of you will know, we can’t keep our feet on the ground for long but the purpose of this trip is to work within a local community in Ghana to support their health and education system. We are going to be using our end of 2nd year holidays to work in African hospitals and schools and the local community for 3 weeks. We both have a strong desire to help others, and enjoy experiencing different cultures and ways of life which has lead us on this journey. We are going out there hoping to use all our new knowledge and skills and learn how things are run there.
As I’m sure you’ve already guessed this is a charity based trip and as nursing students we require abit of help to fund this project. So we are asking all of you lovely humans out there if you have any spare change, no amount is too small, please donate to help us and ultimately the local community in Ghana.
Anybody able to donate their old unworn clothing for us to take to a clothes bank in exchange for small amounts of money to put towards our trip would also be much appreciated. If you personal message us we will let you know the best place to drop off :)
For those of our university pals we will be holding super yummy bake sales at uni so please come say hi and treat yo self!
We will also be embarking on a range of sponsored activities including walking the 3 peaks of the U.K. the length of Hadrian’s wall, and absailing some heights.
Lots of love
Amy and Ali
