I've raised £200 to raise money for Opening Doors London and Young Minds.

So, this year I'm taking on the crazy old task of running (maybe some walking along the way) 100km in ONE DAY along the south coast with a bunch of my Brekky Club pals. It's called The Beast Ultra for a reason.
It's going to be a huge challenge, but already we have made progress as a team and there is a massive sense of community among us.
BUT I'd also like to do something a little more.
I have been working closely with Opening Doors London over the past few months, and they even let me cover them with glitter at London Pride 2017. Identifying as LGBTQ+ is hard at any age, but with the growing acceptance it is getting a little easier hopefully. But for some of these lovely lot, they have lived through their sexuality being illegal. I want to give them a bunch of pennies to spend on parties and fun so that they can keep getting together and no one will have to be alone, or feel alone.
Stepping away from my Breakfast Club charity involvement, I'd like to send a bit of money in the direction of Young Minds, for a more personal reason. Mental health among young people is something that is often overlooked, leaving young people just as isolated and alone as some of the old folk in our community. More support is needed, for everyone.
That's my bit for now!
Please help me make some people's lives a little better x
