Story
Amy has been invited to ride in the UCI Santos Womens Tour Down Under in Australia in January 2018. Her new team will be providing accommodation and support throughout the 4 day Stage Race for the 6 riders. Unfortunately at the moment Amy doesn't receive any external funding from any of the governing bodies so has been entirely self funded for the 2017 season. Amy is a current Welsh Champion on the track and road circuit for 2018. She is also a former Junior World Champion and record holder for the Team Pursuit in 2013. In 2014 she was selected to represent Wales in the Common Wealth Games but unfortunately was involved in a serious race crash 16 weeks before the games. The opportunity to race in Australia with the Maaslandster Womens International Cycling Team will be the first big steps on being competitive for the next Common Wealth Games and future Olympic Games. After a great 2017 on the road and track your support would see Amy start the 2018 on the global stage.
